We are looking for a Shipper to join the team at our Midwest Service Center or regional manufacturing facility located in Carol Stream, Illinois.Our team is growing and there has never been a more exciting time to join us!What would you do as our Shipper?You will play a critical part in ensuring materials and finished products are accurately prepared, packaged, and shipped to support our manufacturing and customer delivery commitments. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, preparing shipments, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring quality and documentation standards are met. Your work will help maintain an efficient flow of materials and timely outbound deliveries.You would also:Load and unload trucks and stage materialsPick, pack, and crate frames and other products for shipmentOperate forklifts and material handling equipmentPerform quality checks and maintain accurate shipping documentationOrganize outbound deliveries using UPS, LTL, TL, and service center trucksUse computers and systems to support shipping processesMaintain a safe and organized work environmentWork overtime as needed to meet business demandsThe Skills and Experience You Need:High school diploma or GED requiredForklift certification or ability to become certifiedAbility to lift 5–50 pounds regularlyBasic computer skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong attention to detail and focus on safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime as neededWhat we offer!
