Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 36-bed Surgical PCU unit, focusing on critical and progressive care patients.
• Monitor and manage patient status, adhering to patient ratios of 4 to 5:1.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records through Epic to document and coordinate patient care.
• Float to other units or sister campuses as needed, adapting to varying patient needs and clinical environments.
• Comply with facility policies, ensuring all required documentation is completed timely and accurately.
• Foster a welcoming and collaborative unit culture, integrating into core staff functions during assignments.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and compliance with all state-specific requirements.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory for all applicants.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a PCU/IMC/Stepdown setting.
• Previous travel experience within similar healthcare environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for effective patient care coordination.
• A degree in nursing is preferred, however, five years of acute care experience may substitute if accredited degree is noted in profile.
