Batch Operations Technician Research Triangle Park, Durham NC 27709/Hybrid 12+ Months The candidates must be available to rotate between three shifts (5 PM to 1 AM, 10 PM to 6 AM and 1 AM to 9 AM). TheNC Department of Health and Human Services requires the services of a Batch Operations Technician to support the day-to-day batch operation tasks and deliverables related to enterprise batch processing within the NC FAST system’s batch architecture. This position requires working outside of standard business hours to support overnight batch operations. Responsibilities Include Providing production operations support by executing and monitoring batch process Verifying batch results and supporting nightly production environments across multiple servers. Performing first level analysis of all data interface processing exceptions, logs Escalating unresolved issues and problems according to defined on-call support procedures. The technician will resolve errors and elevate issues, when necessary, by working with functional teams to ensure timely analysis and resolution, in alignment with application service level objectives. Additional Duties Include Supporting the batch monitoring team by analyzing production workflows and recommending improvements to job schedule performance Providing rapid support during outages and assisting in workload automation forecasting Collaborating with the technology design team to ensure backup and recovery systems meet business continuity SLA requirements Working with application support teams and business stakeholders to define acceptable service levels and develop incident management procedures #J-18808-Ljbffr STI
