Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Waste Water Treatment – Operator for our client. This job is responsible for operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment systems in a manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
• Complete hourly system inspections and operational checks.
• Mix and handle treatment chemicals safely and accurately.
• Monitor and manage sludge handling, pumping, and transfers.
• Perform DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) system inspections and adjustments.
• Monitor water clarity and make process adjustments as needed.
• Perform pH, TDS, phosphate, and other chemistry testing.
• Monitor and manage odor control systems.
• Replace pumps and assist with equipment repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase, 110V AC, and 24V AC/DC controls.
• Maintain accurate operational records and follow all environmental and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous wastewater treatment, water treatment, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical mixing, water chemistry, pH, TDS, phosphate testing, and sludge management.
• Experience operating DAF systems is preferred.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V 3-phase, 110V AC, and 24V AC/DC controls.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to operational issues.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Communication skills.
