About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Development to provide executive leadership in the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of clinical research and development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of clinical development plans, ensuring the high-quality execution of clinical trials, and translating platform-derived insights into clinical development strategy. This role requires a senior leader with a proven track record in clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional alignment. The Vice President will also be involved in portfolio-level decision-making, representing clinical development in various forums, and engaging with global health authorities and external partners. Candidates for the Vice President of Clinical Development position at the company should have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree with advanced knowledge in relevant areas such as immunology, protein therapeutics, or oncology. A minimum of 8 years' of experience in clinical research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in biologics and/or platform-based drug development models, and experience in therapeutic areas relevant to the company's focus. Key skills include the ability to communicate complex scientific data, a thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice, and a working knowledge of synthetic biology, protein engineering, or related fields.
