Driver - CDL Class A

Join Our Manufacturing Team

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will transport materials and finished goods between suppliers, customers, and company facilities while supporting warehouse, production, and assembly operations as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Safely pick up products and materials from suppliers and vendors.
• Deliver products and materials to company facilities and customer locations.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and assembly teams to prepare and build outbound loads.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Report vehicle maintenance, repair, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Assist in assembly, warehouse, and production activities when not driving.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assist with additional logistics, warehouse, and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) .
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience .
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and work procedures.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safe vehicle operation and cargo securement practices.

Preferred

• Forklift certification or forklift operating experience.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience.
• Experience loading, unloading, and securing various types of materials and equipment.
• Experience working in a production-driven environment.
• Knowledge of preventive vehicle and trailer maintenance practices.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Regular use of hands and arms to handle materials, secure loads, and operate equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally .
• Ability to safely enter and exit trucks, trailers, and manufacturing work areas throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions while performing driving and material-handling duties.
