Senior SBA Loan Closer

About the Opportunity

Our Client is a strong national SBA lending operation with an active and expanding platform, seeking an experienced Senior SBA Loan Closer to join a collaborative closing team.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full closing process end-to-end on attorney-prepared SBA loan transactions, including ordering UCCs, appraisals, and all required third-party reports
• Prepare and review funding fee sheets, closing statements, and title policy documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers and all related parties — attorneys, title companies, and vendors — throughout the closing process
• Identify and resolve documentation issues, compliance gaps, and closing exceptions using sound judgment, even in situations where a defined process does not yet exist
• Operate within a newly launched loan origination platform, contributing to how workflows and procedures are built and refined over time
• Provide regular pipeline updates to management and participate in continuing education on SBA regulations and SOP requirements

What You Bring

• 5+ years of direct SBA closing experience
• Experience with attorney-prepared loan documentation
• Strong working knowledge of SBA SOP requirements, lien perfection, title policy review, and UCC filings
• Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to move a process forward 
• Comfortable operating in an evolving environment; adaptable, and collaborative
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous closings without sacrificing accuracy or compliance
• Proficiency in SBA E-Tran
