X-ray Imaging Engineer

A well-established, independently operated medical imaging service provider is seeking an experienced X‑ray & Fluoroscopy Service Engineer to support diagnostic imaging equipment across healthcare facilities in Connecticut. This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role within a close‑knit technical team, supporting on‑site imaging systems used in day‑to‑day clinical care. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repair of diagnostic X‑ray and fluoroscopy systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is technically strong, self‑sufficient, and comfortable working directly with clinical teams in a hospital or outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and maintain medical X‑ray imaging systems Perform preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks Troubleshoot technical issues and execute timely repairs Document service activities for internal records and client reporting Serve as a key point of contact between customers and internal support teams Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience servicing or installing medical imaging systems Solid knowledge of X‑ray equipment and related technologies Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls On‑site - Willingness to travel (very little) Excellent communication and customer service abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Virtual Hire Staffing
