PRESSURE CAST OPERATOR

Monday - Thursday 

5:00 am - 5:30 pm

$22.58 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Produces acceptable quantity of bowls (rims and bodies)
• Operates machinery controls
• Performs first-line preventive maintenance and mold maintenance
• Moves ware onto ware racks after exiting conveyor.
• Able to work the green finish stations and PLC control stations while meeting quality and quantity requirements
• Performs normal record keeping duties
• Able to recognize and identify any unusual variations which could damage ware or equipment and make appropriate machine adjustments
• Performs clean-up duties as required
• Practices and follows all required safety regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Requires exposure to chemicals, dust, high levels of noise
• Requires physical demand with repetitive heavy lifting
• Requires exposure to heat, dust and high noise
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime
• Must have a working knowledge of the slip casting process and the ability to adjust to varying conditions and situations.
