Real Estate Development Associate Or Counsel

Overview Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., a mid-Atlantic-based Am Law 200 firm, seeks a mid- to senior-level associate or counsel to join our expanding Real Estate team in our Baltimore, Richmond, or Washington, DC office. Candidates should have 4+ years of commercial real estate development experience with a solid understanding of sophisticated real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing transactions with a particular emphasis on leasing matters (including office, retail and industrial) and experience and confidence in closing deals. Attorney responsibilities will include working with partners on complex developer-sided transactions; drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leasing, loan documents, and other transaction documents; and due diligence review. Job Requirements High performer who demonstrates superior written and oral communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients. Interest in business development. Diligent and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and productively. Ambitious and wants to work in a collaborative environment to help grow and support our real estate practice.
