RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary RN Supervisor – Registered Nurse in a long‑term care setting. Responsible for supervising and guiding nursing staff on weekend shifts while providing direct and indirect care to residents. Location: 1 Magnolia Drive, La Plata, MD. Observe care assignments, manage coverage needs, evaluate staff performance, educate and lead staff. Communicate changes in resident conditions to families/providers, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Review and investigate incidents, transcribe orders, audit medical charges and maintain record compliance for accuracy. Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guide and direct care skills with intervention as needed. Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland. Prior long‑term care experience required. Exceeds in leadership and clinical competency. Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check and physical evaluation.
