Managing Director

LPA is seeking an experienced and driven Managing Director to lead our Denver office. This senior leadership position requires a highly motivated appraisal professional who is capable of managing local operations, cultivating existing client relationships, and driving business development in the local market, while also maintaining their own pipeline of appraisal and consulting assignments.

The Denver office is currently supported by an established team who assist with report preparation and workflow support, allowing for strong internal capacity and efficient production. The Managing Director will be responsible for providing oversight, final review, and leadership to the office team while leveraging this support structure to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.

This role will be responsible for local team leadership, workflow oversight, quality control, client relationship management, and business development. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to significantly shape the growth and performance of LPA in the local market. This is an on-site position in Denver and is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, in-person work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
  
  • Colorado Certified General Appraiser License, MAI designation or progress towards strongly preferred
  
  
  
  
  
• 5+ years of commercial real estate appraisal experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
• Experience managing direct reports and balancing leadership with personal production
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows OS
• Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial real estate data platforms
• Experience with Argus or other DCF modeling software preferred
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
