Construction Superintendent

Superintendent – Commercial Construction Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $115K–$130K We’re partnering with a respected commercial general contractor and real estate developer to hire a Superintendent to lead field operations on high-impact construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands‑on construction leader who excels in site coordination, safety leadership, schedule execution, and team development. You’ll be a key driver of jobsite performance, quality, and client satisfaction from groundbreaking through closeout. Construction Superintendent Responsibilities: Coordinate, plan, and supervise on‑site construction activities with foremen, assistant superintendents, subcontractors, and craft personnel Ensure project milestones, materials, and inspections align with schedule and budget requirements Maintain proactive communication between field operations, project management, and design teams Implement and enforce company safety programs, including weekly audits and OSHA compliance Create, maintain, and update project schedules and 3‑week look‑ahead plans Monitor progress, identify risks, and initiate corrective actions to ensure on‑time completion Oversee quality control and compliance with client specifications throughout all project phases Manage and maintain SWPPP and other site‑related environmental requirements Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members to ensure project success Construction Superintendent Requirements: 5+ years of experience managing multi‑family commercial construction projects for general contractors Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and safety practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management, Civil or Architectural Engineering preferred Valid driver’s license Benefits: Competitive base salary + annual bonus potential Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions 401(k) with 4% company match (immediate vesting) Paid parental and family leave Company‑paid life, short‑term, and long‑term disability insurance Tuition reimbursement and professional development programs Paid holidays and generous PTO Employee Assistance Program and team‑building events Konik is an equal‑opportunity employer.
