Physical Therapist - Outpatient and Acute Care

Location: Spruce Pine, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will work in both outpatient settings and acute care environments, assisting patients with rehabilitation services. The role requires effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Provide vestibular rehabilitation and balance training.
• Administer gait training and other rehabilitation procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
• Previous experience in both outpatient and acute care settings.
• Preferred skills in orthopedic, sports medicine, spine, manual therapy, and vestibular/vertigo/stroke rehabilitation.
