Appliance Repair Technician

Job Description Job Description Carter & Co. Appliance Sales & Repair is seeking an experienced, dependable, skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who can professionally diagnose and repair residential appliances while providing excellent customer service in customers' homes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who can work independently and take ownership of their route. Top pay will be offered immediately to highly qualified candidates who require little to no training or direct supervision. Relocation assistance may be available. Responsibilities: ● Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customer homes ● Service refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, and more ● Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and performance related issues ● Clearly explain problems, repair options, and recommendations to customers ● Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship ● Research and order parts as needed for repairs ● Maintain accurate repair notes and job records ● Keep company vehicle, tools, and inventory clean and organized ● Follow all safety procedures and company standards ● Represent Carter & Co. professionally at every customer interaction Qualifications: ● Prior appliance repair experience required ● Multi-brand appliance repair experience ● Minimal supervision needed / capable of running solo service route ● Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude ● Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule efficiently ● Valid driver's license ● Professional communication and customer service skills ● Comfortable using phones/tablets to maintain updated records ● Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly and move appliances when needed ● Reliable, punctual, and self motivated ● Must be able to pass background check What We Offer: ● Full time position with consistent hours - 8:30am to 5pm M-F ● Competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level ● Top pay for proven technicians ready to perform immediately ● Consistent full time work ● Supportive, family owned work environment ● Opportunity to grow with an expanding company ● Vision, Dental, Life Insurances offered ● 401K offered ● Holiday Pay ● Sick Leave ● Paid Time Off ● Company Truck Provided ● Company Work Apparel Provided
