Role Overview Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. Sodexo Government Services is seeking a District Manager I - Food for our WV, VA, MD region. This position is responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees, including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. The District Manager works with each client and the Vice President on all matters relating to contract and account operations to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. They develop a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Managers. What You'll Do Serve as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Coordinate and direct all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees, including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Develop a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's. Demonstrate strong strategic leadership, financial acumen, talent management, and effective communication and project management skills. Meet multiple deadlines and manage the workload accordingly.
