HR Onboarding and Records Specialist

Can you keep sensitive information secure while delivering friendly, timely support? Are you energized by helping new hires feel prepared and welcomed? What you’ll tackle Own day-to-day onboarding and orientation logistics for new hires Maintain precise employee records and update HR databases without missing a beat Process employment changes: new hire packets, terminations, and status updates Answer questions about benefits, policies, and HR procedures with clarity and care Coordinate training sessions and plan engagement activities that build community Assist with payroll preparation and attendance/leave tracking Support compliance with labor laws and company policies through accurate documentation Generate reports, spreadsheets, and HR documentation as requested Assist with additional administrative needs across the HR team What makes you a great fit Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles Excellent organization, prioritization, and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Trusted to handle confidential information professionally Detail-driven with solid problem-solving instincts Working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws is a plus Bonus points Thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment Positive attitude and a learner’s mindset Spanish-speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Growth and impact Join a people-focused team where you’ll build foundational HR skills, collaborate across departments, and make onboarding and recordkeeping a strategic strength for CAD Engineering Resources, Inc.
