Dietary Aide - Part Time

Yorktown Manor Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility in Yorktown, IN.

The Dietary Aide is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus, established recipes, dietary requirements, and portion control procedures.

Shift Available
• Part Time 12p-8p with every other weekend

Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook all meals according to established menus and recipes
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal service schedules
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate presentation, and portion sizes
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and production standards
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
• Assist with food storage, inventory, and kitchen organization as needed

Qualifications
• One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred
• Culinary school training preferred
• ServSafe Certification required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
