Job Title : Junior Financial Analyst

Division: Onyx Group

Weekly Hours : 40 hours / week

Location: Bonaventure office - Greenville, SC (in-person)

Supervised by : Lead Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst supports financial reporting, planning, and system optimization across outpatient healthcare facilities. This role combines financial analysis with systems and data work, offering the opportunity to build technical expertise while contributing to accurate, timely insights that support business decision-making. Partners with operations leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.

Works closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to maintain reporting processes, improve data quality, and enhance the financial planning platform.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analytics:

Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses
Standardize reporting templates and processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Contribute to analytics projects, dashboards, and data visualizations

Financial Systems & Data Management:

Support administration, maintenance, and optimization of financial planning platforms (such as Planful, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar)
Partner with Finance and ITS to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and issue resolution
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ongoing data quality monitoring
Document reporting logic and processes for consistency and scalability

Education & Qualifications :

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences

Preferred but not required:

Relevant experience in a related role (internships included)
Familiarity with healthcare finance
Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools/techniques
