Vessel Code Welder

Location: Midland, TX 79706

Pay

$25.00–$40.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Overtime may be available based on production needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Vessel Code Welders to join our growing team in Midland, TX. This position requires individuals with strong pipe welding experience who can produce high-quality welds while meeting industry standards and safety requirements.

If you have experience welding pressure vessels, pipe, or code work and can successfully complete a weld test, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality code welding on carbon steel pipe and vessel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Follow all welding procedures (WPS) and quality standards.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Previous Vessel Code Welding experience required.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Weld Test Requirement

Candidates must successfully complete the following weld test:

• 2.500" (.552" wall thickness) Carbon Steel Pipe
• 6G Position
• Process: GMAW / FCAW
• Filler Metals: ER70S-6 / E71T-1C
• Must weld in accordance with the company's approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
