Prep & Paint Technician

Barnett Signs is looking for a Prep & Paint Technician to help produce high-quality signs in our manufacturing shop. This role supports our finishing department by preparing signs for paint, assisting with painting tasks, and helping ensure a clean, professional finished product. What you’ll be doing: Sand, clean, and prepare signs and parts for paint Assist with painting, touch-ups, and finishing work Mask, tape, and stage materials for painting Inspect finished work for quality and consistency Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Support the manufacturing team wherever needed What we’re looking for: Experiencewith sanding, painting, body work, automotive finishing, or similar trades is a plus Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Willingness to learn and take direction Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Able to stand, lift, and work in a shop environment Bottom Line: Help prepare and finish exceptional signage by doing the work that makes the final product look great.
