This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of nursing staff and aides. This position will participate in direct patient care. **Essential Position Responsibilities*** Oversee day-to-day workflow in the clinic as it relates to patient care* Provide ongoing training to nursing staff* Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system* Prepare patients for various procedures and/or examinations and assist physicians, as needed* Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate* Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician* Assist patient by providing direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician* Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed* Ensure patients have received all necessary educational materials* Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled dates to the patient**Qualification*** **Education**: Graduate of an accredited nursing program* **Licensure and Certifications**: Valid registered nurse license and CPR, required.* **Experience**: Previous experience in a dialysis setting, required.**Work Environment:** This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
