Developer/Software Engineer

Job Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Developer/Software Engineer in Orlando, Florida. The selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of Clarity configurations and integrations, utilizing a variety of software tools and methodologies. This role will require collaboration with business users and stakeholders to identify functional and technical requirements, as well as the planning and coordination of activities for environment maintenance, product patches, and upgrades. Responsibilities Design and develop enhancements to Clarity configuration and integrations on the DX T& D Clarity instance. Support custom requests and inquiries that require configuration to user interfaces, database queries, reports, and portlets. Utilize Clarity Studio components like objects, portlets, processes, lookups, and PPM add-ins to develop solutions. Create packages, stored procedures, views, indexes, and relevant database objects. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to evaluate and identify functional and technical requirements. Participate in test cycles and implement enhancements as needed. Plan and coordinate activities for environment maintenance, data refreshes, product patches, and product upgrades. Prepare documentation for deployment and support activities. Adhere to development, change management, and security policies. Oversee final checks, release code to production, and validate and sign off on runbooks steps and test plans. Qualifications Proficiency in software development and engineering is essential. Demonstrable experience with GitHub and JIRA is required. Must possess skills in Configuration Management, Change Management, and Deployments. Knowledge of R Code, VLOOKUP, and Indexing is expected. Experience in UI, Release Process, and Scale Out is required. Must have the ability to create and implement Test Plans. Proficiency in Documentation, Planning, and Workstation Support is expected. Experience in Production, Check Processing, and Implementation is vital. Ability to effectively communicate with Stakeholders and manage Integration processes. Experience in Upgrades and Component Selection is necessary. Must be able to create and execute Validation Plans. Knowledge of Views is required.
