System One is seeking an AP/AR Billing Clerk to join our team for a 6-month contract opportunity with possibility for direct hire in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities
• Full-cycle accounts payable process, including matching invoices, receivers, and purchase orders
• Obtain invoice approval, lien waivers, and letters of credit
• Verify approved insurance and bonds
• Respond to assigned queries accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
• Research source documents and prepare simple accounting reports
• Reconcile vendor accounts
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, central procurement, and project management
• Complete special projects as assigned by the manager
• Maintain rental tracking spreadsheets
• Track the status of major subcontractor/vendor lien waivers and ensure receipt
• Participate in Invoice Transaction Log meetings, updating logs and notes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one-year related accounting experience
• Solid working knowledge of Excel (beginner/intermediate) and Microsoft Office (Teams and Outlook) used daily
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Deadline-driven and attentive to detail
• Ability to multitask

Physical Demands:
Employee will be required to communicate via in-person, telephone, email, video chat, and software systems. Position may involve visits to construction sites and industrial facilities, requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and use of PPE including hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, ear protection, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and work boots.

Work Environment:
Work will be conducted in a professional, fast-paced corporate office environment with contemporary open workspaces, conference rooms, and amenities including an on-site café, fitness center, outdoor walking/jogging paths, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volleyball court, and soccer field. Office noise levels are low, with friendly and respectful interactions.
