Heavy Equipment OperatorWaste Connections is looking for a safety conscience Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team at our J Bar J landfill in Ogallala, Nebraska.PAY: $23-$24 per hourEvery hour after 40 is paid overtime.SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 7am-4pm and every other Saturday 7am-12pm.WHY YOU NEED TO JOIN US:CULTURE: It's a great place to work! We keep our promises to our customers and our employees.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor• Spreading daily cover using a dozer• Maintaining haul roads using a grader• Work in a fast paced, team environment• Follow safe operating practices• Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
