We are seeking a dependable and hardworking EVS Tech to join our team! This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff . The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and help ensure our facility remains welcoming and sanitary.

Position Summary

The Housekeeping / Laundry Aide is responsible for performing daily housekeeping and laundry services to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility while following infection control and safety guidelines.

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas of the facility

• Collect and dispose of trash and biohazard waste according to facility policy

• Follow proper infection control procedures when cleaning resident areas

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens

• Sort laundry according to facility procedures and labeling guidelines

• Ensure laundry equipment is used safely and maintained properly

• Deliver clean linens to appropriate units and maintain linen supply levels

• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or residents

• Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals

• Maintain a respectful and professional attitude with residents and coworkers

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)

• Ability to follow cleaning and infection control procedures

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed

• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team
