Essential Qualifications:

• Current and active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred

• Background check and fingerprint clearance (as per school requirements)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily healthcare services to elementary students, addressing both routine and urgent needs
• Maintain thorough health records in compliance with regulations
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on individualized care plans
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health issues
• Respond to emergencies and implement safety protocols as needed
