Position Summary

Brothers Food Service (BFS) is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Austin team. In this role, you will assist customers by answering questions, coordinating orders, providing product information, and helping ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Route customer concerns to the appropriate department for resolution.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding produce orders, product availability, and delivery updates.
• Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and company services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product, order, and customer service concerns.
• Document and maintain accurate customer records based on customer interactions.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company products, services, and seasonal offerings.
• Build positive relationships with customers by delivering courteous, responsive, and solution-oriented service.
• Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, professional demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Produce or food distribution experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and data entry skills preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Availability to work scheduled shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Customer Service Department operates Monday through Sunday
• Schedule based on business needs

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• At least one (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
