Radiology - X-ray Tech

Radiologic TechnologistPerforms and processes radiographic and fluoroscopic radiology tests. Performs radiological tests as scheduled or requested with appropriate skill and in a timely manner. Has a working knowledge of all equipment. Obtains images using appropriate equipment and knows how to transfer images. Documents tests and procedures via computer. Assists with clinical and office functions. Helps with materials management, performs pregnancy tests, EKGs, and assists with room turnovers. Monitors radiology supplies and equipment certification, keeps a lead apron log, and reports malfunctions. Checks the schedule daily and collaborates with supervisors to provide coverage as needed. Possesses knowledge of aseptic technique in regards to performing tests during procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all records and information received in the course of work activities.
