This role will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and incoming calls while helping maintain a welcoming, organized office environment. Key Details: Employment Type: Freelance, Part-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt Pay Rate: $20/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM Assignment Duration: Through October 31, 2026 Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311 Key Responsibilities Answer, screen, and route high-volume incoming calls professionally. Greet and assist visitors, confirm appointments, and notify appropriate employees. Handle confidential, sensitive, and legal communications with discretion. Provide general administrative and HR support, including spreadsheets, correspondence, and special projects. Order and maintain office and reception supplies, nameplates, business cards, badges, and other materials. Review invoices and assist with related recordkeeping. Maintain telephone directories, visitor signage, and corporate library materials. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Maintain a professional, organized reception area and provide a welcoming first impression. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous receptionist, front-desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Experience handling a high volume of incoming calls. Strong telephone etiquette and professional communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel . Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
