Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Laborist – Ohio

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Warren, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Physician shifts 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with call coverage for midwives 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Labor and Delivery unit setting with Level III nursery support.

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery laborist model with collaborative physician and midwife team
• Level III nursery with onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities
• Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Focus on low and high-risk obstetrics, routine and complicated deliveries, and emergency GYN coverage
• Currently supported by 1 full-time laborist physician and 1 full-time laborist midwife
• Ongoing locum opportunity with potential for long-term placement

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Self-Query NPDB report required at time of submission (pulled within 30 days)
• Experience with routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiple births, and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Proficiency in laparoscopic procedures and open surgical gynecology
