CAD Designer

CAD Designer – The Woodlands, TX We are looking for a CAD Designer to join our growing distribution team located in The Woodlands, Texas to provide design on various utility projects. Responsibilities Preparation of construction plans using a combination of MicroStation and AutoCAD Ability to perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities Conduct or coordinate detailed phases of technical work Coordinate with other drafters, technicians, and engineers to assist in assignments Basic understanding of ordinance and laws governing distribution engineering Problem solves to complete project tasks or designs Prepare and coordinate permitting with Municipalities, Cities, Counties, State and Federal agencies. Qualifications Associate degree in Computer Aided Design or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competencies Ability to work well in a team environment within the office and with different disciplines Can work independently and request guidance Meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously Responsive to requests.
