Lakeview Manor 408 N 5th Ave Tawas City, MI 48763, USA Travel Required : No Nursing Full-Time Requisition #: NURSE002396 Description The Nursing Assistant in Training provides supervised resident carein accordance withestablished policies,proceduresand regulatory standards.This role serves as apreparatorystep toward certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA),and assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies. Measure and record vital signs, weight, percentage of meal consumed intake/output as directed. Assistresidents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable. Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff. Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort. Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation andin accordance withfacility procedures. Maintains a clean,safeand comfortable environment. Makeroutine rounds on each assigned resident every two hours. Contributes to the residents’ assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the plan of care. Education and/or Experience High School Graduate/GED Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have graduated from a state approved nursing assistant training program and must pass a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment; name entered into state nurse aide registry.
