Whether your expertise is troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment or rebuilding heavy industrial machinery from the ground up, there's a place for you on our team.As a 100% employee-owned company, every employee shares in our success while supporting the production of critical components used in some of the world's most demanding industries.3rd Shift Openings Available10% Shift DifferentialAvailable Schedules:Machine Rebuild & Repair Department: Monday-Friday | 6:00 PM - 5:30 AMMaintenance Department: Sunday-Thursday | 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, plus every other Friday | 11:00 PM - 5:00 AMWhy Join Scot Forge?100% Employee-Owned Company (ESOP) - Share in the success you help create.Career Growth & Advancement Opportunities - Build new skills through hands-on training and technical development.Bonus & Profit-Sharing Opportunities - Employee-owners benefit when the company succeeds.Outstanding Benefits Package - Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more.Competitive Pay & Shift Premiums - Including a 10% premium for 3rd shift positions.What You'll DoDepending on your experience and interests, you'll join either our Maintenance Team, responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently, or our Machine Rebuild & Repair Team, specializing in rebuilding, repairing, upgrading, and restoring heavy industrial equipment.Responsibilities Include:Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy industrial equipment and production machinery.Working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to support safe and efficient operations.Performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and completing repair documentation.Installing, aligning, fitting, assembling, and upgrading machinery and equipment components.Performing welding and fabrication work as needed.Inspecting cranes, hoists, chains, furnaces, and other industrial equipment.Reading blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders while following all safety procedures.RequirementsWhat You'll BringWe're interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:Industrial MaintenanceMachine Rebuilding & RepairMillwright WorkMechanical MaintenanceHeavy Equipment RepairManufacturing MaintenanceIndustrial MechanicsQualifications:Two or more years of industrial maintenance, machine repair, machine rebuilding, equipment installation, or related experience; orCompletion of, or current enrollment in, a Mechatronics Apprenticeship or Technical Degree program.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.High School Diploma or GED.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred:Welding and fabrication experience.Preventive and predictive maintenance experience.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing environment with operating forklifts, overhead cranes, furnaces, and heavy industrial equipment.
