Bartender

Encore Village is currently hiring for a part time Bartender position. A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring smooth bar operations. The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of mixology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take beverage and food orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service (e.g., refusing service to intoxicated guests).
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
• Provide recommendations on drinks, promotions and specials.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in food and beverage service preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness and presentation.
• Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages, kegs).

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, high-energy hospitality setting (restaurants, bars).
• Evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts are common.
