Necessary Qualifications and Skills We welcome Certified Hygienists of all experience levels to apply Active Hygienist License in the state of New York Warm, compassionate and professional chairside manner - we want our patients to feel well taken care of! General understanding of standard dental software, including Dexis and Eaglesoft Excellent communicator - must be fluent in both English and Spanish A self‑starting team player - you’re there to help when needed, but also own your work without direct supervision Preferred Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist certification in NJ X‑ray certification in NY and/or NJ Conversant in French Creole Accountabilities End to end management of patient hygiene appointments Educating patients on proper oral health techniques - instilling a sense of careful ownership of personal oral hygiene in our patient base Patient screenings, both pre- and post-up, providing an extra set of eyes and hands to our doctors Taking X‑rays when the need arises About the Main Street Family We're more than just a dental practice- we're a tight-knit community and dental practice dedicated to fostering love, compassion, and excellence in oral health care.
