Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity In Perham, Minnesota

Sanford Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible emergency medicine or family medicine physician to practice part time (.5 FTE) in Perham, Minnesota. Perham Health includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, 98-bed skilled nursing, assisted living facility, and three clinics.

Practitioners enjoy a shared practice concept and consists of 11 family medicine physicians, 13 advanced practice providers, 1 psychiatry nurse practitioner, 1 psychologist, and 2 surgeons; specialty outreach is provided by Detroit Lakes and Fargo providers.

Advanced practice providers work as second providers evenings and weekends.

Annual ED visits: 7,000+

Level IV trauma center

Full lab and radiology on-site, plus advanced life support EMS that works in the field available to support the ED as needed.

Shifts: 12 or 24 hour shifts and on average 36-48 hours per week

Full time ER coverage

Compensation package: Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.

Annual compensation range (based on 1.0 FTE): $344,635 - $445,998

Additional incentives may be offered. Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements.
