Public/Community Health Physician

A mission-driven healthcare team in east-central Indiana is seeking a full-time Optometrist to deliver comprehensive eye care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities just an hour from Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive eye care services for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and amblyopia
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing (fundus photography, visual fields, OCT)
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Collaborate with ophthalmology for surgical co-management
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
• Maintain accurate electronic health records
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated care
• Participate in community outreach and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Indiana optometry license (or ability to obtain)
• Commitment to patient-centered, community-focused care
