Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting tailored treatment plans
• Implement effective physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and function
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals, to maximize patient outcomes
• Teach patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and home-based exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure integrated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Any specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
