This contract opportunity is full-time and designed for dedicated PTs ready to start as soon as possible. You'll have the chance to collaborate with educators and parents to help children increase their mobility, gain independence, and reach their potential in an engaging school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to design individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere in the school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents on student progress and interventions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored goals and strategies
- Maintain detailed session notes and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs within the educational setting
- Contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to best support each child’s success
