WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Waiter/Waitress

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. Essential duties and responsibilities include promptly and warmly greeting guests in the dining room; delivering food promptly and professionally; demonstrating complete understanding of menu items and ingredients; communicating directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated; exhibiting exceptional communications skills and demonstrating ability to get along well with others; collecting tickets and following proper cash-handling procedures; promoting a clean, safe and neat environment for guests; maintaining a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared; promptly addressing complaints or issues; ensuring that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keeping area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards; operating a variety of equipment; working with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions; and performing other duties as assigned.
