Schedule / Job Type

Contract (26 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient information and clinical interventions using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit attendance and scheduling expectations throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
• Familiarity with Cerner modules specific to Medical Surgical workflows
