Make a meaningful impact as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist supporting preschoolers in a friendly, collaborative environment. This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 20–25 hours per week, weekdays from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. You'll work with a manageable caseload, currently serving 10 students (with a maximum of 20), ensuring each child receives individual attention and quality instruction.

Responsibilities include instructional planning, delivering effective interventions, and managing all special education requirements for preschool-aged children. Onsite, a non-certified substitute is available to offer hands-on classroom support, allowing you to focus on your expertise. Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Intervention Specialist (or Special Education Teacher) for early childhood
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood special education students
• Ability to manage instruction, goal setting, and compliance documentation for a moderate caseload
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and service providers
• Comfortable utilizing technology for documentation or virtual instruction, if needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies
• Provide engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and related services for comprehensive student support
• Document progress, maintain records, and fulfill SPED compliance requirements
• Utilize support from the onsite substitute to maximize learning opportunities
