Dietary AideWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at BlueBonnet Rehab at Ennis. As a key member of our dietary department, you will assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.Responsibilities:Assist cooks in setting up and covering dessertsMake supplements for 10am, 2pm, and 7pm snacksSet up resident food traysWrap silverwareHelp serve residents trays in the dining roomBus tables and traysWipe off tables in the dining roomClean up of work areas after each mealAssist with dishwasher cleaning schedule, including initiating and datingLog food temperaturesStock storage room and refrigerated itemsAttend mandatory in-service meetingsRequirements:High School or General Education Diploma (GED)Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods requiredExperience in an institutional setting preferredKnowledge of food preparation in large quantitiesKnowledge of hazards of improper food handlingKnowledge of use and care of food service equipmentAbility to calibrate thermometerAbility to lift 50lbs or moreAbility to exercise good judgment and tact in dealing with other staff, residents, and resident familiesAbility to read tray cardsGood communication skillsFlexibility in work scheduleWhat We Offer:As a part of our team, you will benefit from a supportive and collaborative work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay.
