License Practicing Nurse (LPN) Cardiopulmonary Job Type: Full-Time, Days National Park Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) joining our team, you will provide compassionate care to patients, assess needs, administer treatments, and ensure safety. Responsibilities Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Document patient care provided. Assist RN with development of plan of care. Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. One year of experience preferred. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire. PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
