Senior Construction Manager

Senior Construction Manager
West Palm Beach, FL | Full-Time
Build What's Next in Construction.
The Role
Zero RFI is looking for an experienced

Construction Manager

to join our team in the

West Palm Beach, Florida market.

We're looking for a construction professional who knows the jobsite—but is also excited about where construction is going. This person will play a hands-on role in managing construction activities, coordinating project stakeholders, and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the expected quality standards.

You should be comfortable walking a jobsite, identifying issues before they become problems, communicating with owners and contractors, and using technology, data, AI, and modern project tools to improve how work gets done.

This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong construction fundamentals with a technology-forward mindset and wants to help shape a better way to manage construction.

What You'll Do

Manage day-to-day construction activities and project execution.

Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and overall progress.

Conduct regular site visits and assess project progress, quality, safety, and potential issues.

Identify risks, delays, conflicts, and other issues early and work with the project team to resolve them.

Review project documentation, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documents.

Coordinate project meetings, track action items, and ensure commitments are followed through.

Maintain clear communication between field teams and project stakeholders.

Monitor workmanship and project quality and elevate concerns when necessary.

Support closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, inspections, and turnover.

Maintain accurate project records and provide regular project updates.

Use technology and digital tools to improve project visibility, documentation, communication, and execution.

Explore and adopt new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, when they can improve project outcomes or reduce administrative work.

Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and project partners.

Represent Zero RFI professionally with clients and partners.

Identify opportunities to improve project processes, communication, and execution.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of construction management or related construction experience.

Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project execution.

Experience working directly with general contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations.

Experience identifying and resolving construction issues in the field.

Technology-forward mindset with a willingness to adopt new tools, software, AI, and digital workflows.

Comfortable working with construction and project management platforms, digital documentation, scheduling, reporting, and collaboration tools.

Curious about how technology can reduce administrative work, improve visibility, and help teams make better decisions.

Ability to learn new technology quickly and challenge inefficient processes.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.

Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the larger project.

Ability to communicate effectively with both field personnel and senior stakeholders.

Ability to travel to project sites throughout the West Palm Beach/South Florida area as needed.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

Know what a good jobsite looks like—and can recognize when something is off.

Are comfortable having difficult conversations with contractors and project partners.

Don't wait for someone else to identify a problem.

Are naturally curious about technology and how it can make construction better.

Are willing to experiment with new tools and find better ways to work.

Can move comfortably between the jobsite, project documentation, technology, and client conversations.

Are highly organized but practical in your approach.

Like solving problems rather than simply documenting them.

Take ownership and follow things through to completion.

Can communicate effectively with both field personnel and senior stakeholders.

Are excited about using technology to make construction more transparent, efficient, and predictable.

Why Zero RFI
At Zero RFI, we're building a team that brings together deep construction experience and modern technology.

You'll have the opportunity to work with talented people across construction, technology, and business while helping shape how projects are managed and delivered. We're not looking for people who simply want to follow an existing playbook. We're looking for people who want to improve the playbook.

If you understand construction, embrace technology, and enjoy solving problems, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our projects and the way our industry works.
