Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, maintaining sterile technique and readiness of equipment and supplies
• Monitor patient status during procedures, assist physicians, administer medications as protocol, and document intra-procedural data
• Collaborate with the physician and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate peri-procedural patient care across the cath lab and related units
• Ensure equipment functionality, participate in patient transport and positioning, and float to related units as requested
• Recognize and respond to intra-procedural changes or complications, adhering to safety protocols and patient comfort standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a patient-centered care plan from pre-procedure through post-procedure

Requirements

• Cath Lab experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience (REQUIRED)
• Certifications: ARRT, ACLS, and BLS (Facility will not pend license/certs)
• References: 2 Supervisory References from the past 12 months of employment
• Skills: Skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to the Cath Lab specialty
• Additional: Ability to work in an acute care setting and participate in an on-call schedule as described
