Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)

Hours per week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract

Certifications: BLS required

Experience: 5+ years CST, including 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, 1+ year CVOR, and trauma experience

What You'll Do

• Scrub for CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, maintaining aseptic technique
• Reprocess cardiovascular and thoracic instruments
• Document procedures accurately using the EPIC charting system
• Provide intraoperative support by managing crash cart, scrub, and circulating duties
• Ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency during high-stakes procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a Level I Trauma facility

What You Need

Required:

• Valid CST license and BLS certification
• Minimum of 5 years of CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery
• 1+ year CVOR experience in a surgical setting
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma facility
• Proficiency in thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures

Preferred:

• Flexibility to work PM weekends and night shifts
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
