THE ROLE

We are seeking a Production Artist on our Order Management Team. This person will be responsible for preparing finished artwork according to customer specifications for final decoration. Reporting to the Manager of Order Management, this role plays an important part in handling all aspects of our art processes supporting all decoration techniques including print, deboss, laser engraving, heat transfer, digital printing and embroidery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities to include Idea Generation System.

• Manage and route all incoming orders.

• Prepare finished art per order specs.

• Prepare previous art files for final output.

• Assist production on art related requirements.

• Prepare and send color separations for production.

• Maintain established production quota for a fast passed high volume environment.

• Additional tasks and deliverables as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to utilize Continuous Improvement concepts and philosophies on a regular basis.

• Must be detailed oriented.

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Proficient on PC.

• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point.

• Good written and verbal communication skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions with accuracy.

• Knowledge of screen printing and related techniques.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.

• Must be able to independently manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to meet/exceed established production standards.

• Participate in Lean activities.

• 2+ years’ prior experience in Production Art or related field
