Certifications/Licenses:

• Required: Diploma of Nursing
• Preferred : BSN
• Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Ohio RN license or Compact.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
  • ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Mandatory Experience:

• RN Telemetry Stepdown
• Shift: 8 weeks, Nights and every other weekend
• Stepdown Float: floating to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step down, and Cardiology Tele Step down
• Required: 2+ years stepdown experience, experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) must know how to interpret heart rhythms
• Preferred: experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients
